Kids!, those cute, innocent, tiny, naughty souls who are always found flying happily flapping their wings around.
They live in their own small world spreading happiness and brightening the environment around. They make friends disregarding religion, caste, creed and color. Small gifts make them happy but yes they have to be good in number and repetitive. That one step into the home in the evening after a tiring day at work lifts the spirit up when greeted by these excited happy smiling eyes.
Why am I writing about kids today turning away from my usual posts of short stories, poems, cars or travelogues. Well, the pen felt the urge to pay a tribute to two of the near and dear ones that bless my eyes and ears occasionally.
One such soul entered into my life, My niece Miss Sonu – A naughty bright girl whose shining teeth are always at display.
A strong bond has developed with her in the last 6 years. Madam used to love perching in my arms and play with her naughty funny faces.
Time does fly by and it is surprising to see the toddler grow right from the cradle, now upto my waist.
One day on a trip to Tirupati, she co-incidentally found herself in front of the camera and when the family thought she will shy away, madam went and faced the camera with her broken tooth, happy and excited (at 1:55)
She loves posing for the cameras and is quite particular about the right frame.
One more soul (her brother) who maintained distance with me for about two years, since the day he was dropped on this earth has suddenly started displaying feelings of love in his eyes – My nephew Mr. Sid.
A silent introvert fellow who showcases his naughtier side only with the few selected. A bit of serious, calm and composed fellow who as time flew by got connected close to heart and now enjoys spending time beside. Looks like I have become his good friend, maybe introverts enjoy each other company and that draw us closer to each other.
He is very shy and does not like being clicked, so we catch his raw emotions behind the frames without his notice.
He too loves travelling and engross with nature. Maybe my travel blogs will act as reference in future for his interest in case it develops.
Life is indeed beautiful when these amazing souls are around.
This post is dedicated to the childhood lives of both these loved ones, treasuring some moments in this e-dairy pages, for one fine day for them to appreciate my reciprocated love for them, when they grow up old enough to read and understand this post. Till then, wishing the colorful childhood to play its magic on them.
