Saw a girl one day, dressed in blue,
a damsel whose step could brighten life with light true.

Saw a girl one day, dressed in brown,
a beauty who was just fit to wear a crown.

Saw a girl one day, dressed in pink,
which made even the eyes of God to blink.

Saw a girl one day, dressed in yellow,
who liked to stay away from every fellow.

Saw a girl one day, dressed in black,
who was keen to be on the success track.

Saw a girl one day, dressed in green,
warm shoulders that the head could rest and gleam.

Saw a girl one day, dressed in orange,
whose presence in the heart left a feeling strange.

Saw a girl one day, dressed in red,
A charm, seeing which darkness fled.

Saw a girl one day, dressed in purple,
whose smile planted a cute dimple.

Saw a girl one day, dressed in white,
a princess when walked past, the heart took pride.

My dearest girl,
a new ‘YOU’, each day these colors, transformed.
